The Maraia Method® is a both a process for improving selling and networking behaviors via the deepening of relationships and a coaching process designed to insure those behaviors last. Twenty years of field testing with thousands of clients has allowed us to hone this method into a results-oriented structure that is both motivational as well as transformational.

The fundamentals of this approach are as follows:

  • Focus on the strengths of the client
  • Stress personal accountability and self-awareness as a goal
  • Encourage specificity and detail through keen observation
  • Focus on one or two new actions or behaviors the client is willing to take
  • Assess the probability of the client taking action, then increase the odds
  • Receive specific time and date commitments from client, and calendar desired actions
  • Perform near real-time follow-up with client as to the success of the action
  • Allow the client to assess his or her own performance
  • Provide detailed and behavior-based feedback to client
  • Allow client to assimilate what was learned and the benefit of his new behaviors
  • Increase the number, frequency and depth of conversations with the client
