The content emerged from repeated field testing with hundreds of clients in pursuit of real opportunities.  It was then refined countless times by working with thousands of professionals intensely focused on growing their practice one relationship at a time. This allowed us to discover what really works.  It also made the ideas 10 to 20 times more practical than anything professionals had seen before.  Only after eight years of slow, painstaking gathering of data and experience did we begin to write about what worked.  Mark Maraia's first book, Rainmaking Made Simple, was written in 2003, almost 13 years after starting the business.  The basic content of The Maraia Method® can be found in these four places:
